Beach/River/Mangrove Cleanups
We believe that it’s important to show the impact of plastic pollution. A great way to do this is by going to areas most impacted and cleaning them up.
This also allows us to employ members of the community full-time to help with our cleanups.
Our beach cleanup efforts near the María Linda River—one of the most polluted rivers in the world—are a key part of our mission to protect the environment and support communities affected by plastic pollution.
Plastic waste collectors play an essential role in keeping our environment clean. Unfortunately, many of them face severe financial challenges. Our mission is to address this issue and support those who perform such a crucial job.
We regularly meet with collectors to understand their needs and find ways to help them improve their quality of life.
